Staying at Au Fond was an absolute delight, thanks to the warm hospitality of our generous host, Claude, who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The spacious room, complete with comfortable chairs and air conditioning, offered a perfect retreat after our explorations of the stunning Central Massif region. Each morning greeted us with a wonderful breakfast spread, including freshly squeezed orange juice and a beautifully presented cold buffet, fueling us for adventurous days. Although the storm curtailed our plans for outdoor dining by the pool, the seasonal outdoor pool itself was an inviting feature, promising relaxation on sunnier days.
